Hi — my name is Margarita, but my foster pawrents call me Rita! I am a 4 month old hound/terrier mix (everyone’s best guess) looking for my fur-ever family. I’m currently living with my three foster brothers and BOY DO I LOVE THEM!    Hopefully my new home will have another pup for me to play with , although it’s not a deal breaker if they don’t. For a young pup, I’m pretty mellow. That is to say — I match the energy. If the humans + pups in my house are playing, then I want to play too! If everyone is lounging around napping, then I’ll do the same. I LOVE to go for walks and car rides. Currently, my favorite toys are …. ALL OF THEM. I love toys that squeak the best, but have been known to steal my foster brothers plush toys and chewies. I know a few basic commands but with a little extra training, I could master so many more. I am extremely smart and try my best to listen to my humans. As far as potty training goes, I’m about 95 % of the way there! I still have a few minor accidents but only when I get thrown off of my schedule. I do well taking treats and eating around the other dogs in the house — and I do well sharing toys too! Also, I’m not afraid of everyday loud noises *AKA* the vacuum. My favorite thing, other than napping, is being the neighborhood patrol pup! If there is a window and something happening outside, I need to watch it! Partially because I am nosey but genuinely because I can’t believe my fosters and their neighbors order so much from Amazon.
