Meet Ben, a handsome 4½-year-old, 40-lb American Pit mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s well-trained, a joy to share your home with, and always eager to show off his collection of tricks. Around adults, Ben is incredibly sweet and well-mannered—an ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal, affectionate dog. Ben strikes the perfect balance between chill and thrill: he’s happy to lounge by your side during quiet moments, but just as ready for walks, playtime, or adventures when it’s time to get moving. He’s fully up to date on all vaccinations and routine vet care, so he’s healthy and ready for his next chapter. Ben would do best in an adults-only home where he can receive focused attention and structure. He can be reactive around medium and large dogs, though he’s made great progress and has successfully bonded with several canine pals after careful introductions. Due to a strong prey drive, he isn’t suited for homes with small animals. Ben is truly a wonderful dog looking for the right forever home to match his loving, spirited nature.
