"Cassandra was tied to a shopping cart in front of our warehouse during a storm. It was awful to see. We think whoever had her before didn’t give her the love she needs to thrive.
Cassie is a playful and outgoing pooch who loves treats and attention. She is the "Pawfect" size too. At about 45 pounds, she enjoys going out on the town and does well with walks, playing at the dog park, and loves taking naps with her older pup foster-brother. While she is playful and friendly towards dogs and people in social environments, she can sometimes get protective around her food as well as strangers coming into her home. She currently sleeps well in a crate and has no problem settling down at night, but she can get vocal in the mornings when she hears the rest of the house waking up. Her potty training is going really well and accidents have dropped down to close to zero, but like any dog she enjoys frequent opportunities to go outside and stretch her legs and do her business. We believe that Casey would do well in a house or apartment as long as her family shows her a lot of love and attention. She is spayed up to date with her vaccines and looking for her forever home "
