American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Baby : : Medium
Meet Sienna! This sweet girl is almost ONE and was adopted when she was 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, Sienna was surrendered back to the rescue by no fault of her own. Despite having her life completely change in a short period of time this girl has adjusted extremely well. Sienna is loving, very very loving. She loves people!!! Actually, Sienna loves everyone/everything. She gets along well with other dogs and doesn't even mind cats. Her vet believes she is an American Stafforshire/ Corgi/ Jack Russell mix .... we aren't too sure. What we do know is that Sienna isn't too concerned with her short legs. If she wants to get on the couch, she will do just that. Likewise if she is ready for bed she will hop right up. She does love food and eats it rather quickly and therefore receives her food in a slow feeder bowl. Sienna is fairly quiet and is not too concerned with noises outside or people walking in/out of the home. She will just stand in front of the door and quietly look at you as if to say "Hey Human! I'm Sienna. Make yourself at home." She loves to play and gets the zoomies frequently- which is pretty funny to watch with her little legs scooting all around the house. She is completely spoiled and has made it very clear that she will be the most well behaved dog all day long as long as she gets to sleep under the covers at bedtime. Sienna is house trained and does well going outside to potty. She does great on a leash and will look out of the window during car rides until she is ready to lay down. I feel like I could write an entire novel about how sweet and loving this pup is .... I am truly amazed by her. She was recently spayed and has healed very well from her surgery. She is skittish/shy when she initially meets you but warms up quickly as then becomes smitten with you. This baby is so deserving of an awesome family that will love her FUREVER! Her future adopter should anticipate a loving dog that enjoys lots of snuggles and moderate exercise. More about SiennaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
