Hi, my name is Kirby and I am a D.O.G, DOG. I have a long list of likes because I am a very happy boy. Top favorites include; treats, snuggling, tennis balls, playing catch, tug of war with my rope toy, frolicking with dog friends, doing tricks, chasing squirrels, and all things water. In fact, I love water so much that I can be a bit of a mess when I am drinking because I love to show off how I can blow bubbles in my bowl. I am a strong swimmer. I like to be near you and will happily lay at your feet after you take me for a walk. The people I am staying with now describe me as "a galloping muppet." on the dance floor. They are always laughing at me because I am a bit of a goofball. They also keep telling me how handsome I am. What do you think?

I use my mouth for a lot of things, licking peanut butter out of jars, giving kisses, but mainly for playing. Sometimes if you aren't paying attention to me I may tug on your shirt or put your hand in my mouth to remind you that I am there. I am what the people call a mouthy player. I am also really strong and really fast the people say that I am like having a personal trainer because I require a good work out on walks so I need a person who can keep up with me. My ideal person would be very active and love playing. I would just love a house with a back yard for us to play in. 

My list of dislikes is shorter and is actually a list of things that dislike me. So far, I have not done stellar with cats but it isn't my fault. I just get really excited and want to play and don't know how to do that in a way that doesn't annoy the cats here in my temporary neighborhood. But that hasn't stopped me from trying yet. Wish me luck...

I am very suspicious of bikes- I think that they are trying to play chase with me so I am very interested in them. I think I just need to learn more about them to get comfortable around them. 

I love kids. I get really excited when I see them as well. I let all the neighborhood kids pet me but I really just want to play with them. Sometimes I forget how big I am and when someone holds a ball up for too long I may jump on them to try and get it. For that reason I would do better in a house that understands that ball is life and sometimes I forget my manners when ball is involved. I would love a teenage brother or sister to play with me.
