Sometimes Jaxton moonlights as ‘little bit’, but we think he’s just right - big enough to frolic in the yard, fetch the ball, and keep watchful guard over the house. He’s a brave and loyal pup – and loves a good snuggle. His absolute favorite is cuddling up at the end of the day, but he’d be happy to provide his company in most any endeavor, from the next Netflix binge to a joyride in the car. Jax is tolerant of other dogs and cats after getting acquainted, but most of all, he wants to make his person happy. He’s a clever boy and very motivated to learn. He knows potty breaks go hand-in-hand with a quick lap around the yard or those glorious W-A-L-K-S and has been making strides with his commands. Jax warms quickly to women, who he senses he can trust and love, but he’s not sure about other strangers. Men and small children make him nervous and he dons a defensive cap around them. Jax is very well mannered and affectionate with his foster mom, and in the right home he will make the perfect co-pilot for any adventure featuring the occasional belly rub.
