Roxy came to us from a high kill shelter in GA where she was likely to not make it out. She was in the shelter with her 5 little puppies, scared to death, shut down, & heartworm and ehrlichia positive when we got a call from a wonderful rescue partner asking us to save them. Our partner said the light was leaving her eyes every day she was at the shelter. Roxy and her pups were pulled to safety where she has begun to heal, wag her tail and want love from humans. Roxy is a total love bug who gets in a hurry for nothing except a treat. She is slow and deliberate and just a joy to have around. If it's a total love you want who wants to sit around with you and watch tv, she's the girl for you. She will greet you every night with her wagging tail and look of love and give more affection than you've ever seen. Roxy will begin her heartworm treatment soon now that her mommy duties are over.
