Flurry is a very special little girl, she is visually impaired and partially deaf.  Unfortunately when breeders mate two merle colored aussies, the puppies come out as what's know as double merle.  They do this to get them to be mostly white in color with some markings but also knowing that they will almost always have vision and hearing problems.  This is the case with Flurry.  She can hear some things, mostly higher pitched sounds and she can see fine to get around but she does have dropped pupils and they are fuzzy around the edges, called starburst pupils.  Her eyes are very sensative to light and she has very poor night vision. 

Despite all of this, she is a wonderful girl with a sweet disposition.  She does great with other dog and loves all people.  This girl deserves a chance at a good life despite her issues that are the result of horrible breeding.
