Artemis is a very energetic little girl who loves to chew on her antlers! She is around 25 lbs and full grown. She gets along well with cats but should be in a home with medium to small sized dogs as larger dogs scare her. She is not small kid friendly but would do fine with an older child willing to let her take her time to warm up. She’s very skittish when she first meets new people and new dogs, but will warm up quickly. She needs to be with someone willing to take the time to work with her and who understands her fearful nature. She is training with her fosters right now but will need to be taken to training in her new home for the chance to bond with her new owners and to keep working with getting her more comfortable in busy places.  Artemis is highly active and needs to be in a home with a fenced in yard that she can run around in. She is crate and potty trained and gets along well with the five other small dogs and two cats in her foster home.
