Meet Dougie, a very handsome and strong willed pup who will show you endless amounts of love! Dougie is a good boy but will need an adopter who has dog experience as he will try to push his boundaries upon occasion. He loves to play and be in the thick of things but can become overstimulated with excessive playtime. We have seen incidents of this when he’s been in the mix of young kids at play. Dougie had joined in their games and got hold of a Cheeto bag. He bit when the bag was pulled away from him.  Because of that we will not adopt him to a home with small children. He is a puppy yet, but best to err on the side of caution. Dougie is making great progress with potty training and is learning commands with ease. He’s a smart boy for sure. He loves to play with other dogs and will likely be happier in an environment where he has a partner in crime or at least regular play dates with buddies. He loves his toys and can be an excellent snuggle buddy. Dougie is crate trained but definitely prefers to be in your company. He has shown some food aggression in the past, a love of Cheetos for sure, but his foster mom has worked hard to nip that in the bud. All in all, Dougie is an affectionate pup who wants to please and is learning how to be a good dog.
