Pawfect Match rescued sweet girl from Nash County on Tuesday. The shelter knew she was injured, possibly had a broken leg. Pawfect Match rushed her to our vet who sedated her and did xrays...Unfortunately her injuries are much more than a broken leg...She has 5 major fractures on her left side that has caused neurological issues on that side going down her left leg. She has another fracture on her right side.
The fractures on her left side will require surgical repair and we won't know if there are any lasting neurological issues until after they get inside and see what they are dealing with. She is now with our surgeon at Quartet and they will do surgery on her today or tomorrow. She has a long road to recovery but she is young (6 months) and the sweetest dog ever.
