UPDATE:  After several years in foster care we have decided that Drea is ready for a home of her own.  All of her medical issues have been tended to.  She is a loving girl that would love someone to dote on her, snuggle on the couch at tv time, and let her snuggle next to you in bed at night.  She would love a fenced in yard (a doggie door would be perfect for her).  She will do well with another calm canine friend and older, calm children.  She loves car rides, walks, and will  behave wonderfully at a wine bar or brewery.  If you think you could be Drea's "pawfect" match, submit your application and let's talk!

Meet Drea.  A nine-month old beautiful Siberian Husky who needs our help.   

Drea, sadly, has a genetic condition which has caused her to have Grade 4 luxating patellas in both knees.  Without surgery, she will be unable to walk and will have no quality of life.  WITH surgery, she has a great chance for a full recovery and a full life.  

Drea will need to have two separate operations, 8 weeks apart.  Each surgery will cost $1300.  In addition, this poor girl managed to break her jaw while trying to get out of her crate.  She's obviously not a big fan of bed-rest and was born to run!  We are reaching out to you to help us make that her reality.   

Drea's first surgery is scheduled for this upcoming week.  All donations received will be used toward Drea's medical bills and subsequent care.  She is a sweet and loving puppy who has stolen the hearts of all who have met her.  She is worthy of this chance at life and we know she will make a wonderful family member once she's healed.
