Angel came to us via the South Korean Meat Market Trade last fall. HSI helped close down the farm she was being held at for slaughter. You can read more about this here: http://www.hsi.org/issues/dog_meat/ Angel has come a long ways from last fall, she has learned it is quite fun to be a dog now. She loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home, she will come up to you for attention and back rubs now. She is still a little cautious of new things and changes to her routine. She does ok going out but is still anxious when outside of her comfort zone. I think she will always be like that although I think with time and going out she will get better at it. She needs a home where someone has the patience as a change in her environment will probably take her a little longer than most dogs to adjust, but once she is comfortable she is a very sweet girl. She would also do better in home with other dogs, I don't think she would be good with cats though as this breed was bred for hunting.
