Flossie Mae came to us from Louisiana - she and her 4 puppies were part of the group of dogs we took in after the flooding in that region. Flossie has been a good mommy, taking great care of her puppies. She finished nursing but continued to look out for her pups to ensure they were ok. Flossie likes to be a lap dog and loves attention from her human. She lives in a foster home with multiple other dogs of various ages and sizes and appears to be good with other dogs if they are good with her. Flossie Mae has been spayed so that she can live a good life without the duties of motherhood again. She does have heartworms & we are currently having her treated for this.
