Meet Bones. This poor girl was left abandoned when the people who owned her moved and left her there. When the new people moved in, they found Bones with a litter of puppies who all got homes but they didn't want any more dogs so they dumped Bones at the shelter. She came in looking like a walking skeleton with a bad limp and fur loss due to malnourishment and a horrible ear infection. Bones is now on good food and supplements and being treated with medication for her ears. We are still trying to figure out what's going on with her leg but hopefully we'll get her all fixed up soon. She is a loving girl and is so happy to be inside and warm with lots of love and attention. Won't you please consider helping this girl regain her health back by making a donation towards her medical expenses or sponsoring her? She and all of us at Pawfect Match would be eternally grateful.

*UPDATE* 12/07/08
Bones is now up to a whopping 72lbs, which is still about 25lbs underweight for her but 10lbs heavier than when she came to us. Her ear infection is about gone and she is finally growing her fur back. We have learned that the issues with her legs are neurological and more than likely something she was born with but does not cause her any pain. She will always be a little unstable on her feet but she still loves to go for walks. We are waiting for her to get healthy enough to be spayed and she will need to have a few teeth pulled due to poor nutrition in the past.

Despite all she has been through, she loves people and will make a wonderful addition to someone's family.

Bones is doing wonderfully! She heas recovered from her spay and her teeth being pulled and has gained some more weight. She loves to go for walks and even has the stamina to run now! She is such a loving girl and really needs a family of her own.

*UPDATE* 05/16/09
For anyone who didn't know what Bones' has been through, they would never guess.  She looks like a totally different dog from when she first came to us and is thriving!  She goes for walks three times a day and loves to play with her foster dog siblings and the resident cats.  She is the most gentle creature on the planet despite her past.  She would love to have a family to call her own, won't you please consider adopting this amazing girl?
