Aiden was found along with his sister by the Raleigh PD and taken to the emergency vet.  They had severe solar burns most likely caused by sun exposure and no relief from heat and sun :(  They were in such pain that they needed to be on iv pain meds for 2 days followed up with pain patches for 2 more.  Once they were stable they were turned over to Wake County Animal Shelter in protective custody.  They never found the owners and were released to us for placement.  This little boy is the sweetest thing.  A little reserved and still recovering but doing a little better every day.  Happy, eating well, and playing.  All good signs of a great recovery.  If you are interested in adoptin Aiden I don't think you'll be disappointed!
