Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

Spot
Spot was our very first dog in the program. He conquered sarcoptic mange, and was a happy playful boy. After four years of sharing a loving home with his new family, he ruptured a disc while chasing a squirrel. Sadly, he was paralyzed and in pain, and the decision was made to end his suffering. Spot was a special boy, and we will all miss him very much. Our condolences to his broken-hearted family.

Suzie
Suzie was about as sweet and cute as any puppy could be. She never met a stranger, and absolutely loved her cuddles! Suzie was with us for eight wonderful happy days before she stopped eating. Even though here symptoms were mild, she was being devistated on the inside, and she passed over the Rainbow Bridge on 1/26/10. We will miss you sweet, sweet girl.

Einstein
This little boy came to us with such a sweet soul that it was quite easy to over look the massive heart defects and umbilical hernia. In the end, he was unable to overcome all the things stacked against him. Einstein was only with us for a few months but he definitely made a lasting impression on all of us who knew him. We will miss you, big guy.

Tempe
Margo came to us ready to bring ten new pups into the world. Unfortunately, she was immuno-naive, having never been vaccinated, and passed a deadly virus on to her pups. We worked hard to try to save them, but only two survived. Tempe was with us less than a month, but she will be missed.
