Joplin is one stunning girl but has some special needs so she needs a very special home. Joplin was diagnosed with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which means her body does not properly absorb nutrients from food. She is now on medication to help her with this issue but this will be something she will have to be on for the rest of her life in order to maintain her health and well being. As long as she continues her medication, she can live a long and healthy life just like any other dog. Her disease doesn't slow her down though and she is very active and loves other dogs! She is slow to warm up to new people and would do best in a home with adults only and someone with German Shepherd experience as she is super smart and needs a strong handler. Once she bonds to you she will be your best friend for life and loves to snuggle and be near her person at all times. She is a very driven shepherd and would excel in nose work given the opportunity.
