Introducing Chester, a delightful canine companion with a heart as big as his love for chew toys and playtime. At 2 years old, Chester has a zest for life that's contagious, making him a wonderful addition to any loving home. He gives the best hugs and is such a loyal, goofy, fun guy.

Chester's day is made complete with chew toys, a game of fetch, snuggle time and the promise of treats. His enthusiasm for play is only matched by his food motivation, making training sessions a joy. In the company of his foster brother, Chester engages in playful antics, showcasing his social and loving nature.

This affectionate pup has a gentle demeanor, showering those around him with love and snuggles. While he adores people, it's important to note that Chester exhibits some resource guarding tendencies with toys. Therefore, a home without kids is recommended to ensure a harmonious environment for everyone involved. In his current foster home, there is a steady flow of teens and he loves being in the middle of their shenanigans.

Chester is a work in progress when it comes to leash reactivity, but he's making strides with the support of his dedicated foster family. In public, he does show reactivity to other dogs. He lives with a foster brother and while they play together often, at times they struggle to work things out without a scuffle. They both quickly reset with a little time apart. He would likely do best in a home where is he getting all of the attention. He loves all people but has a tendency to prefer males.

Having lived with both cats and other dogs, Chester can be a versatile companion. He is crate trained, finding comfort and security in his crate where he sleeps and enjoys his meals. Chester forms deep connections with his people, and while he can be a bit protective, his loyalty is a testament to the love he holds for his family.

Patience is the key with Chester, as he takes some time to settle and build trust. He likes to take things slow especially if introducing new things. Once this bond is formed, Chester promises to be even more amazing than he already is. If you're ready to open your heart to this loving, playful, and devoted companion, Chester is eager to become an integral part of your family, bringing joy, laughter, and unwavering loyalty into your life.

Chester will need to remain on low fat food as some foods just do not agree with his tummy.
