Hester came to us via Villalobos.  She's a swampie and came up with 9 babies in tow.  She's been a great mom and is now ready for a home of her own.
Hester is a great size, perfect for those families looking for a compact dog.  She weighs in at about 30 lbs.
Hester is playful and active.  She loves her people too.  She gets along great with the dogs in her foster home and loves to play with them.  She is a mix of cattle dog so she does tend to be a bit bossy and herdy :)
Hester can be anxious on leash and will need some training meeting new dogs on leash.  She tends to be very exciteable and that doesn't always come across positivily to other dogs :)  
Hester would love another dog to play with but she'd also be wonderfully happy to be the center of attention.  She'd like an active family that will take her on hikes and long walks away from the hustle and bustle which seems to cause a bit too much stimuli for a cattle dog.  A fenced in yard for her to run and play in would be optimal as she'd probably rather not have to potty on leash :)
