If you are looking for a nearly perfect five year old dog, Venus is your girl. She came to us pregnant and was a wonderful mommy to eight pups. She has the sweetest disposition and is ever so happy to be in your company, laying on the sofa or in your lap of course. She has a bit of separation anxiety which we've started her on meds for. She really does love her people and wants to be with them always. Venus does not have high exercise requirements but does like to stretch her legs. She is potty trained and enjoys routine. Venus can be picky about other dogs. She is not interested in dogs who want to get in her face or show their dominance. She's not an old woman by any means, just prefers to think of herself as mature. Overly playful canine buddies are not up her alley. Venus is heartworm positive sadly but will begin treatment to correct that at the end of January. She cannot be 'officially' adopted until the treatments are complete but is available for a foster-to-adopt situation. Venus is a sweetheart of a girl and is considered a dream in many ways by her caretakers. She may just be the dream your family is looking for. Other Pictures of Venus (click to see larger version):
